I was looking back to last week and what my life looked like.

I asked myself, “What does your life look like – good, bad, indifferent?”

I certainly remembered the last 3 weekdays.  I can’t begin to tell you how stressful they were.

It was barely an afterthought that reminded me that the first 2 days had actually been terrific – productive, stimulating and enjoyable.

Because I was focusing on everything that went wrong just because it had happened more recently, could have been fatal. It would have been so easy to discourage myself and make me feel hopeless!

Luckily, I remembered the conversation I had with Nikola, my business partner.

It not only restored my sense of optimism but reminded me that life is rarely just doom and gloom.

The art is to remember the good bits and to give them more attention.

So I have a question for you.

What are the good things that you’re currently experiencing in your life and in your relationship right now?

If you keep a gratitude notebook, record it there so you don’t forget. If you don’t have one, this is as good a time as any to start.
